Three leopard cubs found at Sindenanhalli

Three leopard cubs have been found abandoned at Sindenanhalli in Heggadadevana kote taluk in Mysore on Monday.

The villagers claim they sighted a mother and four cubs in the noon hours and but in the evening three cubs were abandoned at a field belonging to one Pradeep. However, another cub and a mother were missing.

Later, forest department officials were tipped off about the leopard cubs and they are guarding the cubs. Local forest officers have decided to leave the cubs at the same place till Tuesday so believing that the mother leopard may return and take back its cubs.

A forest department personnel have been deputed at the spot to protect the abandoned cubs. Sindenahalli is 15 kms away from Mysore city.
